Your right but from what I have read, you will never have a complete spawn of ebjd's. They will always be part of a %... Some %'s will be more than others because of what's paired up. But either way, producing(or trying to lol) is a challenge I'm ready to take on. Good luck with your spawns also.
You will get a 50/50 ratio of Blue-gene & Elec. Blue...... mean average.
This is the best combination for maximum Elec. Blues.
Bb X bb = Bb,Bb,bb,bb where Bb= Blue-gene, bb= Elec. Blue

You are welcome.. you will be so happy with them once they start to color up... I have about 300 fish in my house of all different kinds and these are now my favorite fish of all!!!! Im sure my peacock bass and red tail cats don't like them too much since they get all their attention now (lol) but I love them... I just ordered 4 blue gene jacks to go with them today, I will post pictures when I get them next week... GOOD LUCK WITH THE EBJD. AND DO ALOT OF WATER CHANGES FOR THEM!!!!!
I would not put them with a Oscar.. The ebjd's are not like regular jack Dempsey's, They are not aggressive at all and will get picked on by most fish their size.. They are almost sissies!!! lol...
