Likely not. They don't do well with aggressive and territorial fish. So I advise against it.

Just another update on my ery, in case any of you are interested...
It's growing well, I just measured it and it's 14cm or 5.5" and putting on bulk nicely.

As I mentioned in the beginning of this thread, it's in a grow out tank, but I need to start looking for a bigger one...
At the moment I'm looking at a 50gallon 90x45x45cm.
Would that be ok for life?

Would be as a solo fish.

Hi guys,

Just another update in case you're still interested...
I moved my ery ery to his new home last week and he's slowly getting used to it... still fairly timid though.
He's eating, but not begging for food as he used to, still, whatever food I drop in the tank in the evening is gone in the morning, so I guess he just needs a bit more time to get comfy.

When I moved him to his new tank I took the opportunity to measure him... he's exactly 18cm or 7"
He was 3" when I got him October 27, so he's been growing around 1" a month...
Don't know if that a good growth rate or not??
Wonder if he'll reach out 10"....

Here's a couple of pics of his new home.

Looks like a nice home for it. Put on some decent size. It should start to plateau in regards to growth, lengthwise.

With a new move I'm sure it's getting used to the new tank. Should be fine.
