My first Fluval!

I have my 405 packed full with biorings with a little filter floss on top for water polishing, I've never replaced the foam prefilters either I just rinse them out whenever I'm changing the filter floss which I do whenever I see a noticeable drop in output pressure.

I will be using ceramic rings as well. So the order is foam - rings - floss(on top) cool.

I haven't had the time yet to dig into the filter. one of my tanks cracked last night, so I have to set up a new tank...or at least get it ready to set up tonight...
