My first ghetto pond.

Im glad everyone likes the filter I got the idea off someone on this site, cant remember who.
It was really simple to make and a hell of a lot cheaper than a fx5 or an eheim.

I just bought a plastic set of drawers from a cheap shop

Drilled some holes in it, which you can see in the first set of photos.

Filled up the drawers with filter floss, sponge, japanese matting offcuts that i had lying around and matrix.

Then the pump pumps water into the top of the drawers which drains through each compartment, coming out the bottom.

I also stuck the heaters to the back of the filter cause they wouldnt stick to the pond liner.

The lovely neat hole that i made to fit the hose in lol.

Dimensions are approximately 4'x5'x1.5'. I'd like it to be deeper but it was all that i could find.

So now i have a pond in the middle of my bedroom.
Its not finished yet, I've still got to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

Uhhhh I dont know if i'd trust something this big on the fourth floor, but good luck lol, let me know how it goes.
