My first ghetto pond.

this use to be a good thread. It's disgusting at the moment.

Dont worry. It will get better.

So I've decided tuesday is going to be moving day and to be honest Im not really looking forward to it. Now dont get me wrong, Im extremely happy that my little kitty is finally going in her pond but Im dreading all the work I have to do to get her in there.

First of all Im rearranging the furniture in my room to fit in another cupboard, I got rid of it a few months ago to fit in another tank but now Ive realised I need that extra storage space to keep my room from looking like a bomb has hit it.
Next Im transferring alot of fish from a couple of my other tanks into Sallys old tank which involves draining one of the tanks and taking all the decor out of the other, then of course catching the little b*stards.
With the pond itself, the filter needs a clean, the whole thing needs to be drained, moved, insulated and filled back up. Sallys tank then needs to be drained and Ive gotta catch her, then her tank will be refilled.

I'll be pumping hundreds of gallons in and out of the room all day, as well as moving heavy furniture, a tank and a couple dozen fish. Its alot of pushing, pulling, and lifting and I dont know if my back can take it.

Oh well, I shouldnt be whinging. Its all gonna be worth it in the end. Not many people can say they have an RTC pond, two 180s and a planted tank in their room and still be able to have room for a bed and somewhere to put their clothes haha

My 180:
I bought a bunch of driftwood a little while ago and I needed to keep it waterlogged so i just dumped it in this tank for now. Screws up my aquascaping but its only for a few more days.
