Damn what a nice fish. I hope some more show up soon as my 10"er died when I moved a few months ago.
Hopefully he will golden up. While he is around 21". His mass is huge. He is in with my 24" black aro, and the dorado is probably 4 times bigger than the aro in mass. He hasn't ate much yet, but once he gets a better appetite I will post a video.
That thing is sick..... Can't imagine what a shoal that size would look like.
Will definetly look forward to seeing how it does with tankmates.... Maybe these things just have a bad reputation and will do just fine.
Was curious about color cause thought maybe it had something to do w/ gender. M/F Dorado have different colors? Maybe like rays and it's a location thing?
