Hard to tell from picture, but doesn't look like Scomb. Could be Armatus. Take better picture for proper ID. At that size, it's better to feed it with feeders, until it gain some size, then can start switching it off live.

Does it sit horizantally or at an angle most of the time. Also what colour of the fin between the dorsal fin and tail?

The colour is like a dark grey colour, i've wacked some frozen lancefish in cut up and it seems to chase it but then just stops and lets it drift over. Theere's a stronmg current so i thought'd immitate a fish pretty well!
