  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
WOW lots of nice Jags! can't wait for mine to get the big. Makes me want to move everything else out of the tank to give more room.

What size tank do u have him in and what are the tankmates again? So many Jags on here these days that it's hard to keep track of who has what

Since there is some other "hijaging"going on here I am going to add... and hopefully show the original poster and everyone something they want to see and that's useful....
Here is my male that I purchased 15 months ago.. He was approximately four and a half inches and is 11 inches now...my estimation that at the time of purchase he was 6 months old....
Here is a pic of the male with the female..The female is about 9 inches... I know its much accepted a 125 gal is the minimum size for a pair ,I am bending the rules just a little bit and have mine in a 120 gallon ...I keep a divider handy when things get rough....
I actually have a third fish in there a, pleco... They do not bother as long as he stays out of their way... I also think it helps their pair bond ... Plus keeps the algae down because a jag tank can be very hard to clean ...Jags don't really have a reputation of being the most glass bangers but when you put your hand inside their tank its a different story....
