My first loss

lost my female boa last night.
she regurged during the night sunday, then last night i came home to find her belly up but still alive.
i decided not to move her or touch her incase i made it worse or uncomfortable for her so left her for the night.
this morning i came down and found her dead. she looked peaceful compared to how she was last night.

sad state of affairs right now didnt think i would be this upset.

I feel for u ..i will probably face the same fate with my mono in the morning ..or tonight..it hurts when u lose a pet u put so much into..sorry for ur loss

oh no, well i hope it pulls through.
just kinda makes me wonder why i have pets. i know i get upset so why do it.

It´s always sad to loose an animal; and it´s specially sad the first loss.
But... every living thing eventually dies.

I often ask myself why I keep animals too - the only answer is they give me so many happy times while they are here. If it wasn't for all the happy times it wouldn't hurt so bad when they are gone.
