I built one the same style for my 90, except it only has a middle brace in the back, and the front is open. I gave myself room to put a 40 breeder or a 30 long down there.
You could park a truck on mine. No lie. We actually calculated out how much weight that many 2x4s in that configuration can hold, and it's more than my boss's huge pickup- I believe it's the biggest chevy they make that doesn't run on diesel,.
Should last forever, if you put a decent coat of something on it to seal it. Mine took a quick black coat, and I plan on facing it with some cheap 1/4" ply to make it look fancy when I have some money to spare. Cheap way to make it look like a real piece of furniture.
