Thanks!... and yes it did. I met her in Calgary on the weekend.

I kinda feel bad for the little guy. I can't stress how small it is. I was told it was 2+ inches and I'm positive it's only 1.5". It was swimming all over the place for the first 24 hours, brazen and bold without a care in the world. I then did my weekly tank cleaning and built a stack of driftwood with tiny openings so that it could get away if it chose to do so. Ever since then it's been chilling out in the wood and hasn't come out once haha. Better grow up quickly!

I wouldn't feel bad for your Midas. He should be terrorizing his tank mates in no time. ;) Keep posting as he changes!
 
looks good,you could if your worried,give him a few weeks in a 10 gal. that way he won't need to compete for food.if the tank is very active with tankmates sometimes the grow can be slower
 
I believe this one already has the colours it will keep.

Yeah I might do this with a 20g I have kicking around. I haven't seen the little guy in 3 days :S haha
