My first monster tank: any tips ?

well, dunno if some of you guys consider it a monster tnak, but it is for me.
this will be my biggest ever.

not sure of the exact dimnersions, but its 5' long.

ill be setting up next wekend. any tips for a first time big tank owner?

make sure you have enough filtration
 
filter... can never get enuf
 
As stated filtration is a huge Key element.

Id let the tank cycle atleast a month before adding fish (to be safe).
 
Cycling a tank without some kind of bioload doesn't work. the culture needs fish waste to live, Just go slow adding your fish, one or 2 than wait a couple days, and try to seed your filter with a live culture from an established tank. Getting a good test kit is also a good thing.
