My first monster tank: any tips ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well, the top one is setup and i'm keeping a 12" channa micropeltes in it now.

the bottom one, i'm planning to move my collection on juvenile snakeheads in it, c. marulius, c. lucius, and i'm thinking about adding more fish for a Thailand native tank.
i've already got 2 jungle perch, and possibly a native thai ray.

the good thing is, i can alwyas let anything go ; )

If you are not familiar with the nitrogen cycle. Read up on that too. I agree on there's not such thing as too much filtration. I have a filtration system that is rated for tank/ponds up to 6000 gallons on my 240 gallon tank. =P Had to switch the pump though cuz after awhile the fish gave up on swimming and just float around.
