Im gettin that used (empty) acrylic sump 48 x 18 x 16 for 60$ so not a big deal. Thanks though.

That the skimmer Im thinking of buying if I dont find one used. Also am I going to being to run one big pump and break it down to four .75" returns going to 2 different overflows? or would two pumps make more sense?

That skimmer is too small, especially considering that you want to do a predator setup; you might want to consider getting a bigger one or two of that model.
As for the pump & overflows, just be sure that the overflows can handle more flow than the pump outputs (before adjusting it) and everything will work out fine; there are some good pump sizing and overflow flow rate guides in the DIY stickies.

Sorry to get off topic, but LiveAquaria also sells sturgeon that they state will grow to 4' long, yet the minimum tank size recommended for them is 180G
They are in the business of selling fish. If they state the truth (that a sturgeon will grow over 4' and to keep one would require several thousand gallons) I don't think they would sell too many. Sorry OP, back on topic:
Bulkreefsupply is a great place to buy plumbing parts. The bulkhead that you referenced (schedule 80) are better than the standard ones (heavier duty and seals that are less prone to leaking), but they do require a larger hole than the standard ABS bulkhead fittings, so hopefully you measured the holes before pulling the trigger.
Nope I did not measure first. Was going with the saying " If the hole is predrilled its almost always ABS" with the hopes that it works. Never drilled a tank before and didnt want to use my display as the first. I agree that some of the listing on Liveaquaria are understated to help them sell but for the most part they are on point.
Unless Im able to find a bigger skimmer used for about the same price Im almost sure Ill end up buying it anyway. All fish will be bought as juveniles and grown out in the display. Then upgrade when Im able to. I am totally ballin on a budget here with this tank. Thought about trading or selling it for a 180 like I originally wanted, but think with a little time and the sale of a few other toys and tanks I will be able to get it up and running soon.
You should be fine as long as you don't overstock it with juvenile fishes; you can always add on another skimmer down the line as needed.
