My first monster.

He's about 36 cm.... in one year he will be double that :) That'll give you an idea.

if it is hard for him to turn around after he takes a breath then the tank will definitely b too small.... it is your call when you get your new tank, personally i just got my 'little' who is about the same size as yours into a 50 gallon tank and i am already saving up for a bigger one, and you should probably b doing the same...then get a really big tank for him as soon as you can afford to....

If a lungfish has reached that point where it's difficult to turn, it is ALREADY way too large for that tank.

coming from the guy with no tanks larger then 100 gallons lol.

lungfish aren't my forte, but as a general rule, you want a tank to be atleast as wide as the fish is long, and about 3 times as long as the fish is long. for a lungfish you'd probably want an 8'x3'x2' (lxwxh) which is about 360 gallons, or 1360 liters.......of course lungfish don't move an awful lot.

X24 - Lungfish do come as babies, you know :) All of mine are still youngsters, the largest two being approx 60 to 70 cm. So I haven't had to resort to individual ponds yet, but that is the plan.
