very very nice.. you mount him or to much money to do that i know its like 600 for a fish that big! i hopefully am going to hire a guide and go fishing for muskie in september november.
why would you mount the fish? honestly, its better to keep trophies in the water to keep fishing good for other people, now a days all you need is the measurements to the fish and the people can make exact replicas....... wow

Where at? The bite is good on Mille Lacs right now. We raised about 5 over 35", and caught 4 fish that were 30" or better. Definitely worth another shot IMO. Great time!

Some people feel that it isn't the same. Replicas are good and all, but they aren't the fish that you caught. I've heard of people being very upset with replica results.... but of course I've heard of people being very satisfied with a replica. I agree that it is definitely a more gracious decision to release the beast you caught, especially a fish that large, chances are they are 20, 30, maybe even 40 years old... but I also see the other point of view... I guess I'm on the fence. I don't have any mounts or replicas... yet.
