Shoals aren't necessarily jumpy, they just protect eachother and act on hierarchy, since its your first Piranha I realise you don't have experience with a shoal,but you will see more natural behavior with a group!

I believe you will enjoy it more and same goes for the solo rbp! Plus with the right combo you may be able to breed!

He's doing great had a cloudy eye n mild gill curl when I got him but has cleared up great eats well on frozen fish n shrimp and has been taking some pellets

He's really got a lot of personality very bold my wife thinks its creepy that he fallows her looking at her like she's " a juice tbone" as she puts it

Yea that's why I had to move my shoal out of my room, let's just say my gf was creeped out by 5 sets of eyes staring at her lol.

Thanks everyone this is my first tank over 10 gallons I have setup and maintained. And I just scored a fx5 for 140$ nib so the flow will b upgraded soon Mfk has given me accesses to lots of good info n helped me and a couple friend get into a hobby we really enjoy
