And they dont mess with aquascaping at all. I know that they get big and badass and all, but Ive noticed that any time they take a good punch, they get in line and stay in line. And big pikes have PUNCH!
Most Cichla in my experience don't get testy till they hit the 12" range. Then it's on and crackin. Cichlasomas, Parachromis etc. then realize why they are one of kings of the amazon.
Smaller Central and South American cichlids get their steam younger because they don't grow as big (mature quicker) Bigger cichlids get their steam later, but when they do......

PBass are amazing fish which arent overly agressive and look great. at The minute i've only got one ocellaris but i'm getting another two when they come back in.
