Just picked this 3" pike yesterday from my LFS. Already it's making itself right at home. Awesome little guy.Was labeled as a pike geayi. Is it?

That's okay with me. I breed venusus and dragonblood so I have too many fry and not enuff tanks.
Definetly not a belly crawler looks geayi to me... Reason it crawls on its belly is its part of the reticulata group of pikes that all have reduced swim bladders so they all "crawl" more. Nice fish rare find! Post some more pictures!

Actually looks Like Crenicichla Sveni now that I look at the pics on a computer. Pattern in the last two pics give it away
Didn't know that.That explains why it's always crawling around. I'll try to get more pics.
