^ looks pretty good so far... You could even try adding in some anubias petite which i think could look quite good in that setup...

I would suggest going to a local fish store. More likely to give you a little more plant for a lot less money. I got enough plants and a few fish for $20. Just tell the shop keeper, I have $20, what can you do for me? If you are there enough, and keep coming back, your $20 goes further, and further...

I keep telling my friend the owner of my LFS to sell plants but he's strictly exotic fish, so those shops are pretty much all I have but I won't worry it's a small tank won't be expensive to stock the only plants I have on my list are java ferns and Anubias petite if I can find it

I would maybe skip the fish and just do cherry red shrimp and maybe 1 or 2 amano shrimp...

Alright, I'll try to find some because as i said my lfs is only into monster exotics so if i find them ill get em but if not idk? Maybe a dwarf frog? A betta? Or maybe ghost shrimps? But they don't have much color
Well I have a while to think about that but what should i get to control algae?
And what plant help ASAP ! I'm going today !

Thats why i recommended those shrimp, they should take care of any potential algae problem as long as its not too bad...
