My first planted tank...

wow that is a really awesome growth i wish i can get a planted tank but just decided it will take too much time on cleaning the tank u would have to be careful not to rip any plants out. And ya hey does anyone know if a planted tank will help the water at all because i am getting a ray but i know i need really clean water and wonder if planting my tank will help (the media is sand)
Currently as well as I can remember:
8 Black Phantom tetras, 7 Black Neon tetras, 8 Glowlight tetras, 3 Lemon tetras (need some more), 10 Ember tetras, 4 Otos (want some more), Swordtail (will have a trio), 9 Dainty corydoras (C. habrosus), 7 Corydoras pygmaeus and 3 Albino bristle noses.
As you can imagine, they don't need to be hiding to be hidden!
