Hi guys today i bought what was labeled as an "ornate poly" They didnt have the full scientific name, I asked but they didnt know.
On his white belly he has a black spot that looks to be about 2 scales big, it doesnt appear to be a parasite but I may be wrong. Any ideas? or is this something normal for these little guys
Also i have noticed that its body is a little pale in comparison with the strong coloring on his fins, Is this normal too?
I think i overpaid a bit for him too so i would be pretty upset if he died from a parasite that he "came with." Paid 70$USD and he is around 11inch long and about 5/8 of an inch wide.
I have already seen an incredible amount of character in this little guy, today he was following my sister around the tank, she walked to the kitchen and he waited for her in the corner till she came back in view and started trying to get through the glass to her again!
