My first rarity

Hi, so I finally got something i consider "Uncommon" tho iam pretty sure its fairly common in the U.S. I got 6 Wild Caught Maculatus Checkerboard cichlids

I know they are less common then Filmatosus. Tho i dout they are truly rare in the hobby. They look so ni

They are not common here and agree with what K krichardson stated.

Not too common. Just watch your pH, they only really thrive between 4.5-5.5

filmatosus are blackeater, there are white water. I want more, by far my fav fish ever, right now they school together well

Very cool. I think the first "rarity" I got was an L46 Zebra Pleco back in the '90's. They were $40 back then lol.
