My First Ray

Well the ray is happy in his new home, but he seems to have decided to hate the Niger cat...

The Niger is way bigger then the ray, I'd estimate about 12" and fat too.

did his stinger get caught in a net? im sure he will stop picking on it eventually

well spotted turkey!

it did, and i tried to pull it gently off but to no avail.

didn't wanna stress him more then needed so i cut around the net and left him with the smallest piece of net attached that I possibly could.

I was very worried it would stay on there eternally unless I operated further (which I'm scared to do cos I don't wanna hurt him or get stung) but my friend reckons int time it'll naturally come off?

Dont worry it wil come off in time, and he looks awesome.

Ah Bruce thanks mate. I wasn't sure if I was experienced enough to have one of these guys. But things seem to be going well. I'm very keen to add a female to the mix once I get more money :drool:
