no hasnt ate .. i was gona put him in a lrg tube but while cycleing it split : ( (on day 2) so i had to basically split my 90 and until i go buy another one hes in with my gts and mono but divided of course
how long to they usally start eating i thought he ate but the found it in the corner .. a

try blackworms or cut earthworms (bite size to fit in it's tiny mouth), I think a silver side may be to big for it's mouth at that size.

shrimp is good, I feed it to all my rays but it takes a while sometimes to get wild caught rays trained on shrimp.
They usually will except blackworms, you can try blood worms (my new born pups will eat 'em)---rays will usually except cut earthworms as well then whole worms as they get larger.
Retics are known to usually be picky eaters at first. I've never had retics but I hear/read they readily eat blackworms. Find something it'll except, fatten it up then start trying other foods.
Also remove any uneaten food.
