My first ray

Rays are a ton of fun. A little advice...Looks real thin I'd fatten it up with chopped earthworms. It appears to be a very small grow out tank, make sure you are doing water changes often. Good luck.

yup as long as there are no pesticides used in your yard- also try bait shop

I'd keep the lights off for a while, like several days or really until it's feeding well. Offer worms 3/4 times a day

Thanks I read that to about lights ima dig up some worms an see what happens I Wana really get into rays maybe one day I can breed it's only 3 on my island

Switch those lights off and go start digging :)
Wash of the soil.

Yes I got a few up I'ma try see if he will take are earthworms the best for fating him up?
Earthworms are considered the go to food for difficult feeding rays whether they're wild caught or captive bred.

Is yours wild caught? If so I would contact the supplier and ask if they treated the ray(s) upon receiving them for internal parasites. If they didn't, whilst you're getting it feeding I would suggest treating the Ray for internal parasites.
