Received two motoro pups from aquascape about 2 weeks ago and they seem to be doing great. They are eating cut up red wigglers and blood worms. I tried to feed them cut up raw shrimp but they tasted em' and spit them out. Maybe they weren't small enough, or maybe they are just spoiled on worms for now:confused:.
Here are some pics of "Bonnie and Glyde"
My only concern is since I put the bubble disc in the tank the female pup has been "playing " with it non stop. I thought it was really cute at first, but now Im concerned that maybe she wants it to stop and is trying to lay on top of it to stop the bubbles, every time I check on the rays she is "playing" with the bubbles.. any thoughts?

i think quite a lot of rays like to "play in bubbles"
i wouldnt be too worried

Looking good, the bubble disk is fine. Lots of peoples rays play in the bubbles. Must tickle or massage them.

that is normal for rays to play with them. nothing to be to worried about, I would give them as much cut up worms as you can and then start to mix the shrimp in the same bowl as the worms, and then take out all the worms. and starve them until they eat it or about a week. But dont do this until they are showing good growth and you cant see any pelvic bones on them. Nice rays BTW

I've been dumping the cut up worms into the tank for them to "find" as they scatter across the tank, should I keep them contained in a bowl when I try to mix in shrimp so they can't "pick and choose" what they are picking up?

yea if you mix them together before you put them in the tank you get the sent of the worms on the shrimp and they know they can eat it

Wow looks great. how big is your tank?
