My first reef-BioCube 14

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the tips. I did remove the bio balls. The middle chamber is half full of rubble rock with some caulerpa on top (I'm constantly trimming the stuff in the tank back). I'm possibly going to add some chaeto and I'm going to get a little LED fuge light to mount above it

I found some nice pieces of liverock today (a little under 4 lbs.) and finished off the rock scape including a couple nice shelves. I really like how it turned out

Here are a few new pictures, but they're from my phone so sorry about the quality.

A top view of the front right corner, so you can see where my new blue mushroom settled in behind my palys. As it grows and reproduces, it should actually be visible from the front of the tank haha

My first mushroom that is now much bigger and to the bottom left of it, the baby polyp it has produced

One of the two clams (that I know of) in my reef. It's the tiny orange thing down and to the left from the zoas

The other clam (coraline covered thing on the underside of the rock). This one moves all over the place. Every few days it picks a new spot.

And the largest of my little hitchhiker stars. I think it has been trying to eat that little clam or something because it won't leave it alone

My favorite hermit, the larger of my two Hawaiian zebras (I really like his new choice of shell as well)
