i came down about an hour after lights out and stayed there till my camera battery ran out.

Haha! Nice to see I am not the only nut case that will take pics for an hour+. Honestly, that is pretty good for first time.IMO getting great shots of fish in an aquarium is harder than any outdoor scenic shot.It takes patience and you obviously have that to shoot until your battery is dead.

i think it was a mixture of patience and the fact that the missus was gonna kill me for waking her when i went back to bed!!!

But what can ya do? if your fish only come out at night so will you!
