I just used bogwood and had that sticking out. It sucks though because no I've found some really nice pieces of wood the other day, but I don't have my archers any more... If you do use bogwood though, be aware that it will lower your ph, so you need to do water changes religiously. You gotta see the archers do their thing though, it's absoloutly killer. I used to just open the lid on the tank when there where moths in the room. They're obviously attracted to the light right over the tank. It's the most lazy way to catch live foods.
