My first

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm bummed. I bought a beautiful 5" timensis last Tuesday and went back Thursday to take it home, only to find the shovel nose tank mate had the PB for breakfast. The cat was so fat it looked like it was going to pop. sob

Update - my pbass are close to a foot (10 inches plus) now since bringing them home in January. I had a 12 inch silver arowana in with them but they tried to eat it! It took me a while to figure it out. I thought the arowana had a fungus that was damaging the area behind its gills and then right in front of me one day, I saw one of the pbass try to take it. It had the arowana head first I. It's mouth and the arowana rolled and spun its way out. He has now healed, in a separate tank. I'm not sure when I might be able to re-introduce him but my plan was to have 3 pbass and the silver together. Btw - an oddball in the tank - a leopard gourami (Ctenopoma acutirostre) - is holding his own fine with the pbass!
