As shown in the pic, it would cost around $30-40 a month sometimes more. What I didn't show in the pic is the bags of massivore I go through in a month. Massivore puts quite a dent in my wallet.

switch how many pbass do you have?

I have the same problem. Every day I make my turtles and silver dollars a fruit salad for breakfast, sometimes I have to grab a few pieces of it for myself. :grinno:

Haha, I know how you feel man.

I've got 9. 2 of them around the 15"-16" range, 2 at the 10" range, 1 at 9", and 4 at 2". It's the four bigger guys that drain all the food.

Thats a lot of food....Massivore is the main killer. I hear ya. I go through 2 of the 2.2# bags every 2.5-3 months. And a pound of shrimp every week or so.

Lets see some updates switch.

As well as my fish eat, I'm ALWAYS gonna eat better. Gotta look after #1 first... My roommate and I eat steak, ribs, etc., on a regular basis.

As for $$.. I feed only Dainichi, which can smack the wallet pretty good. $25 for a small bag... Not to mention the clams and shrimp for my puffers...

My big fish get tilapia filets and Massivore. Thats it. When they were younger they got all the goodies like live and shrimp and fish filets etc., but now that they eat Massivore, thats all they really need. 8-10 pellets every other day per fish, and some days the tilapia instead. Keep in mind 10 pellets of Massivore is equivelant to feeding 2 dozen goldfish, so yeah they are well fed. My juvies get a little more of the good stuff to get them strong.

Make the switch to 10mm NLS you'll get 2 times the amount of a better food for the same price.
