Got some shiplap done and painted front side and got a deadline of 5 weeks before the missus gets new carpets so hoping to finish it for then. Went for a grey colour silver corpse looks quite good



Still need to trim edges and put chipboard in the overlap of roof thinking spotlights along it in the end

Been a while been cracking on with the inside doing framing and I managed to get the 2.5mm cable ring wired round the room to 4 socket boxes (an electrician is connecting it presuming I've done it right lol) filled alot of small gaps with filler foam and I've managed to get the back door in and sealed at the bottom. Been costly over the last week as I've got all the electric stuff I got a list for as I'm having to run the 10mm off my board in the house out to the "garage board" in the what I'm now calling the cave lol. Got insulation waiting there also 200mm thick loft stuff and my osb3 board comes today hopefully in the next hour that includes the 4x1 trim I've chosen Il fire some pics in chuffed it's getting there

So got my electric hooked up ran the 10mm cable from my mains box out to a garage fuse board running two 4ft led batons with 4400lm now the 4 sockets are connected just taking my time insulating and boarded it up with osb3 boards

The board will be flush with the inner wall once I've boxed in the 10mm cable that comes in

Even got a small freezer I plan on using for frozen foods free from a mate

Yeah hopefully sooner rather than later lol might just move out into once it's finished haha

I wish I still had that ambition. My knees are too old to do what I've managed so far.

Why is the breaker box so close to the floor? Will it move higher on the wallboard?
