My fish is mayan or festae

Lol I have festae on the brain.
Must have assumed all fish in there were supposed to be festae.
Mayan has a larger more central eyespot and no eye shaped bar at the top.
It will look similar but be more yellow with fainter stripes. Plus is that it’s smaller and less aggressive.
The red pattern is different with a few factors in play like genetics, diet, and if kept outside. If you search for Mayans kept in the aquarium they do tend to have less red than festae in the aquarium
I have found aggression to be equal for festae and mayans.
The common term "red terror" can be used for either species.
In fact it was first used for uropthamus before festae, because uropthalmus was imported pre-festae.
