The pond still isn't the clearest....but oh well.
My koi are still small (around 6"). I can't wait until they get big! The pond is about 1000 gallons. I have 5 koi and about 15 goldfish.

I'm am running a filter/container full of sponges and scourging pads.

My fish are very friendly...even to my cat

I don't filter my pond though. Haven't for years and it's done fine. It IS filled with plants though.

My fish are really social as well, if you start hand feeding them young like that they're come right to you when they a couple feet long... It's fun.

Pictures are so hard to tell. If your in full sun you will need a UV on it, that milky sort of appearance as daft as it sounds a UV will help that. It certainly doesn't look dirty as such. How often are you cleaning you filter media, despite any head loss you should easily be turning over the pond every hour which is about as good as it gets?
