Pictures are so hard to tell. If your in full sun you will need a UV on it, that milky sort of appearance as daft as it sounds a UV will help that. It certainly doesn't look dirty as such. How often are you cleaning you filter media, despite any head loss you should easily be turning over the pond every hour which is about as good as it gets?

Yeah, the water isn't very clear but it isn't really "dirty" mainly just green. I'm hoping the algae will straighten out on its own (not likely, I know)
I clean my filter media once a year...so the biological filtration isn't killed.
My filters aren't clogged as the water flow hasn't slowed down.
