looking good

Nice set up! Where in Indiana are you located? I live on the North Side of Indy

very cool

I make it up to Fort Wayne every now and again. It's about an hour and a half if you're worried about catching a ticket. Lol. I've heard about the club and other happenings. I'm inpatient though so I never make it to any of the auctions or meetings. I just find what I'm looking for and get it.

yeah I get to Indy a few times a year but that is about it.

I'm kinda the same way, I find what I want and buy it. Might be why I have so many fish already. The clubs can be nice and it is a good way to talk with others in the hobby. The locally club died out years ago and is only a FB chat group now and I don't do social media so never meet those guys.

I get a good fill of fish talk on here. There is only one LFS here that I go to that isn't a big box store. The Reef. Small but they do their best. They are currently doing some renovations to the place. Still open though. There is another place that opened on the west side but haven't made it there yet. They'll probably go out of business before I make it there. :( Indy is a dull boring city. I grew up in Chicago and this place can't hold a candle. They don't even have and aquarium! lol

The room is heated so I have a blanket over the door way. It doesn't have a door because how it's shaped so the blanket keeps in the heat. That keeps the tanks at 72, if a tank needs to be warmer I have a heater in it.
Do you use a space heater ? I'm trying to figure out how to hear my room

This is in my basement of the house the room is small room 10'x13' so 130 square feet. The walls have good insulation, drop ceiling (previous owner)and concrete floor(going to put tile down this spring). The house furnace heats the room for me, I have a vent in the room that is wide open and I keep the room closed that holds all that heat in the room. We heat the house to 70-72 but as the heat has no where to go it just stays there warming that room more than the others. I do have a small fan running to keep the air moving around. I have a small space heater I could use for the room but it hasn't been needed. In the summer I close the vent so the AC doesn't cool the room off but sometimes I have to open up the blanket to allow some cooler air in because it does hold heat well.

If that doesn't answer all the question let me know glad to share.

I have been using forums to do my fish talking too, I do a lot of reading then I try what I learn in my room. Some times there is a big learning curve but I enjoy it. I have heard of The Reef it is on my list to check out next time I'm down there. We have 5-6 big chain stores here in town but only one Local owned. It isn't a bad store kinda dark but the owner is a great guy can't say the same out other working there.
