Nice tank i like the bare look, as you can always look at you fish when u want too.

My story, start one sunday afternoon went to the pet store bought 1 tiny endi, and now i have 19polys:headbang2:screwy:
With more to come:naughty::grinno:

I've always found sand very easy to keep clean. Waste doesn't sink into it, it just piles in low flow areas. A quick pass over with the gravel vac and it's all gone. With large substrate like you have in there, a lot of waste is probably getting stuck in the large gaps between the rocks.

Thanks :) My first fish was a bichir (albino senegal) however due to my inexperience i have lost many bichirs in short periods of time for the past 2 years :( (3x albino senegal 1x ornate 2x delhezi 1x endli)
lesson learnt after lesson learnt and with research i hope to be able to keep more bichirs in the future

Your bichir tank must look amazing:headbang2

Now you've mentioned it i realized indeed alot of food and waste are getting stuck :/ time for a change in substrate soon
