no, large verse small water change is an on going argument. I change no less than 50 percent of my water often closer to 70 plus. Many experienced fish keepers do large water changes.

I would have to agree... I also do very large water changes with many of my tanks.

Well I'm glad things were more improved than I initially thought - I got thrown off by the 2 mo. answer - still kinda unclear on the stable temp. issue. I too do large water changes 50-60% every week I personally believe it helps to greatly reduce build up of just about everything as well as stablizing all the elementals.
