Not shredded, but definately nipped. The tip of the dorsal, and tail. What really sucks is that happened the day I took the pics.

Beautiful Severum, pity about the rip in the anal fin though but hopefully it will heal slowly over time.

Very nice A. diadema too, a great looking fish that you don't see too often, particularly down here in Australia.

Unforunately, the rip is there to stay. He had it and the nip in his pec when I got him at about 4", and they've never changed (only grown as he has). It's some of his little personal characteristics I've just gotten used to . He's the most personable fish in the tank. I used to have to push him out of the way with my hand when I was trying to get food down to picky eaters, and he'd come right back like a dog wagging it's tail with it's tongue hanging out.
