My Florida Gar 11+ years.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thats real nice

Wow old fish, and a beauty! It would look amazing if ya put a couple more pieces of driftwood in with him :)

I havent been here in a while, but my gar is still alive and kickin'. Still living by himself and eating floating cichild pellets. Has anyone here kept one longer? I am not sure how old he was when I got him, guessing at least 2 or more.

Phew... When I saw the date on these other threads I thought it was gonna have a death update. Thank god it didn't... :D

I have a Spotted/FL Gar that I've had for about 7 years now. Like you said, they don't die. He has survived ammonia spikes and a few other things. But he keeps right on going.

Can't wait till I can say I've had my Gator Gar for 7 years :headbang2
Going on year 3 now :grinno:
