Great looking gar for its age. I been doing research on the florida gar and been thinking about getting one. Good job at keeping him for 11 years! My hats off for you.

Yep, still around and as active as ever. Lives in a 125 with an albino oscar and jack dempsey. All get along great and no issues. I would like to get a 220 sometime in the future. I see no reason why the gar won't live another 10+years. Thanks again!

although there is risk given the tankmates, in this case if it has made it that many years (assuming at least several were with those tankmates) the fish will probably be fine--
