Hi guys,
Just a question of my baby Flowerhorn
I have him about 2 months now
Been told he is a Male SRD, can anyone confirm from photos?
Also ,I am feeding him 3 different types of pellet including Sumo red
But you can see from photos lots of blue perals on the body , how can I push up to get more red color up?
Any suggestions?? THANKS

Ocean free had a food for red color too. He looks good, he's head won't grow much.

This was one of my flowerhorn which looked similar when small, he had even smaller head though.

Try putting a black background on your tank (e.g. future board), it will likely help, as will feeding Hikari Bloodred Parrot+ 2-3 times a week.

As others have said, your fish is red dragon, "super" red dragon is more or less a marketing name, though I wouldn't rule out having a bit of Kamfa blood (hence nicer pearling and smaller kok) -- it's getting harder and harder to tell nowadays because their mixing up the lines so much. Anyway, nice fish, enjoy.
