right!some of them do have that kind of problem, maybe the gene is not very stable or something wrong with the hybrid, so take care when pick them up.

I think that the females eggs Are fin but the males are infertile. For example to get a jellybean you can breed a female BP with a male convict but not the the other way around.

There are plenty of fertile Blood Parrots, just not in everybodys reach. You can guarentee that in a batch of 1000 BP's, around 20-40 will be fertile. The real challenge is to try and find a breeding pair.
