My Flowerhorn bit me!

Startled the crap out of me!

He's (she?) in a divided tank and I was cleaning the other side of the tank with my arm about 3 inches above his side of the tank when all of a sudden, he leaps out and latches onto my arm (soft side of forearm). It startled me so badly that I jerked my arm up and he went flying up about 12 inches above the tank and SPLASHED water all over me and the floor. He left a circular mark (I guess he's got teeth I can't see all around his mouth)
with 4 very noticeable fang marks.

Note to self: Don't hover arm above FH.

Just thought I'd share..

Thats right !! You are not the right sex or species LOL That will teach you who the owner of the tank is LOL

Btw, here's the most recent pic of my FH. (just took it)
He's really dark when chasing/stalking fry which I just dropped in.
I think he looks really cool this way.
He's about a 8 months old and is 6" h2t.


Sorry about the dirty tank and messy wires!
