My Flowerhorn growth updates

Ive had him about 2 weeks now, I decided to post updates on here to monitor how he changes

First got him


few days after


2 weeks later-


he seems to have grown quite a bit but his colors seem inconsistent. still gets dark and light all the time also my camera or water is cloudy since I removed the gravel.

i have to say, i dont see the growth? maybe try doing it again ijn six months. very nice FH

I do see the growth but improvement is very subtle, more time is needed.

He's kinda taller now lol and longer not much changes in color hopefully next two or three weeks will be better

Heres how hes looking now....is the black part of his body always going to be there or will he eventually turn to the pinkish color? He still scared of me though at times when I am by the tank staring.

It will stay as long as he is still scared of you/ not use to the environment. How is your water parameters? He is improving though, head got bigger.
