Hello guys, I'm crushed...

Two days ago i found a small wound on my flowerhorn head with a small white silk around it, i treated it with esha2000 to desinfect the wound because i tough he may headbutt a rock or something...

But the fish has stopped eating since then and the wound doesn't look fine and i think that its so deep to be a rock headbutt...

I always heard that the first symptom of hexamita is that the fish stops eating, but my fish ate like a badass until the wound appeared,

Its possible to develop a hexamita that far to appear a headhole without the fish stop eating?

I just started treating with flagyl

What do you think?

Research metro plus powder form.
I dont know what it is but metro works really well when the fishes skin is eaten away like that.

The stuff is amazing.

Can you take a photo of the fish from a side angle so i can help

From thailand

Have you seen stringy white poo?

Nope, but he didnt eat for 3 days.

I would post in the disease section of MFK.

I thought metro was for parasite treatment? Is that a fungal infection in wound?

I started treating with esha2000 because i tought it was a fungal infection in the wound but the fish didnt accept any pellet since then.

Is epsom salt easily available where you live ? I'd try the 3% solution if your fish is accepting pellets.

He is not accepting pellets i gave him shrimps he eats it but without any interest... in the past it just devoured shrimps without even thinking.
