My flowerhorns are not accepting hikari bio gold

I have two flowerhorn fishes , one adult and one juvenile . I have been feeding them optimum cichlid quick red food , they love it. Recently I bought Hikari bio gold pallets. Neither of them are accepting it all . Tried everything , mixed both of the pallets together , made them starve and then gave them Hikari but they aren't accepting it all . What do I do ?

Also how to check the authenticity of HIikari food that I bought?

How about some pictures of the fish? Possibility they are not healthy, maybe one introduced a pathogen to the other.

Did that ...it's fine . I mean they are happily eating optimum pallets but rejecting hikari one
