vinegar works great, too. you can fill it with water + vinegar or soak towels with straight vinegar and leave it on top of the stains for a while

Looks like coarline algae not calcium deposits.. I just did the same thing on my 120.. vinegar and water will make it come off fairly easy on the glass.. as for the overflows.. good luck. I ended up having to scrap a small layer of plastic off of mine to get rid of it.
