My Freshwater Clams

I found these at a reseivor where I was fishing at this weekend and decided to take some home

There's been a lot of pros & cons about mussel/clam keeping.

They can be a great indicator of water quality in an aquarium. I have brought many home over the years and kept them in all of my tanks. Be careful with salt though.

yepp^^ and DO NOT use algi killer in the tank they are in it will kill them and realy mess your system up i have ( found out the hard way) till i learnd how to control it with out chemicals
